Vintage homes Mediterainian style - The exterior of Mediterranean homes typically feature a red-tiled roof (usually terra cotta), as well as brick or stucco that's often painted white. Stone details, carved doors, and raw iron and metalwork on windows, over balconies, and front doors are other common features. Because Mediterranean architecture has had so many cultural influences, it can also be referred to as Spanish Colonial, Morrocan, Mission Revival, and Neo-Mediterranean, among other names. These homes can be confused with Spanish style homes to some degree as they often share several common characteristics. But I would say that the "Med" style tends to be on higher-end larger, estate vintage style homes while Spanish is more common and found on more inexpensive vintage homes,
